The Server Technology Product Family

Server Technology’s family of Sentry™ cabinet power distribution and environmental monitoring products combine the key functions a data center or remote site manager needs to manage each equipment cabinet, reduce downtime and improve data center power management: intelligent power distribution, remote management to reboot connected devices, input current power monitoring, environmental monitoring and serial console port access. Choose integrated solutions or individual Sentry cabinet power distribution units (CDUs), allowing you to design your own Solution for the Data Center Equipment Cabinet.

Remote Power Management

Control remote sites and data center equipment with IP-based remote power management. The Sentry™ family of Switched cabinet power distribution units (CDUs) enables remote power management to reboot servers and network gear individually or as a selected group. Additional solutions for the data center equipment cabinet can be integrated, including input current monitoring, pass-thru console port access and environmental monitoring.

3-Phase Power Distribution and Metering

3 phase power distribution for high-density, high-power demand equipment cabinets. Input current monitoring of each phase allows for proper load balancing of each rack mount power distribution unit. Switched units provide remote power management while Smart units provide remote power monitoring and Metered units provide local input current monitoring.

Modular Power Distribution

The Sentry™ Modular Cabinet Power Distribution Unit family is designed to take a 3 phase in-feed and distribute single phase power via Basic CDUs that can be placed anywhere in the cabinet. The Master unit contains the LED meters, one temperature/humidity probe input, serial connection, IP connection and link port to connect an expansion CDU.

Smart Power

The Smart CDU products provide reliable power distribution combined with local and remote power and environmental monitoring via IP. Use the network interface to view power, temperature and humidity levels via Web browser, or receive SNMP–based alarms when conditions exceed defined thresholds.

Metered Power

Reliable Power Distribution for all the IT & network equipment in your data center combined with Input Current Monitoring of the power loads on each circuit.  110 VAC, 208 VAC, 220 VAC, 3-Phase and -48 VDC power distribution for the equipment cabinet or rack. Combine Power Distribution with the ability to monitor network equipment power draws.  Each CDU's LED digital display indicator provides an accurate, real-time reading of the aggregate power load in amps on each power circuit.

Basic Power

Sentry Basic product family provides a simple solution where reliable power distribution for equipment racks and other data center applications is needed, in addition to branch circuit protection.

-48 VDC Power Management

Control remote sites and minimize the impact of locked-up routers, servers, and other network devices. The Sentry -48 VDC family of Intelligent PDU's verifies voltage at each power input/outlet connection, provides real time recording of current draw and offers environmental monitoring.

Fail-Safe Power Redundancy

Most data centers standardize on dual-power corded servers and network gear for redundant data center power control.  When single-power equipment is the only option, create power redundancy with a Fail-Safe Switch for the equipment rack. Use the Fail-Safe PTXL to add power redundancy and remote data center power control.

Remote Power Management and Console Port Access

Combine remote power management with console port access to remote servers, routers and network equipment into a single enclosure and interface. Serial console access is the only true universal management interface in the data center.

Environmental Monitoring

Protect your investment in IT and network hardware with an IP-based environmental monitor.  Receive SNMP-based alarms when temperature, humidity, water detection and contact closures vary from defined conditions.
