ACCESS CONTROL

Another key function of SPHINX® consists of acting as the programming interface and event indicator for CA-10, an access control unit designed by Sidelco.This can be connected to a maximum of 255 NET-10 (CA-10 network controllers) that can each accept up to 120 CA-10 units, with up to two card readers per CA-10.

Advantages such as the full configuration of schedules, access levels, access cards and logic operations between CA-10 inputs and outputs make SPHINX® a powerful and flexible access system. The same graphic capabilities as the fire alarm are available for the seamless integration of these two vital security systems.

CCTV

SPHINX® can also be connected to the security camera system and can transmit commands. It could select and position a specific camera or start recording a particular access control event, such as a break-in or simply someone passing. This function is only one example of our ongoing efforts to produce the most comprehensive and efficient security and building automation systems.

BUILDING AUTOMATION

Integration goes beyond security! CA-10 has a number of inputs/outputs that can be configured to act together to handle virtually all your control needs. SPHINX® is also an OPC server, making data exchange with other automated building equipment such as heating or ventilation control possible.
