Site audits are offered with the intention of obtaining a precise analysis of an electrical installation’s electrical profile. In order to prevent offering an inappropriate protection solution, the audit serves mainly to detect electrical problems in addition to determining the exact current consumption for a given installation. The results obtained serve as a starting point in the establishment of a deployment strategy or to help plan the purchase of protection equipment.
Audits are generally done on site by means of specialized measurement equipment. Any other information that can help determine the electric profile (descriptive nameplates, installation plans, etc.) is also used to draw up the report.
Once the analysis results have been obtained, recommendations can be made to ensure an optimal protection level is reached by selecting the UPS best suited for the task.
